ZEN YOGA RANKING SYSTEM
The Zen Yoga Ranking System resembles a martial art in that progression through different levels reflects the time and effort put into the training. These are guidelines which outline the basic structure of Zen Yoga. Each person brings their own skills and abilities to the Zen Yoga family.
Levels:
Student – Beginner level. All participants in a Zen Yoga class are students.
Adept – Intermediate level.
Requirements: Completion of the Zen Yoga Fundamentals Course
Instructor Level 1 – Training Certification Level.
Requirements: Adept Level
1-on-1 personal Zen Yoga Training with Sage level instructor
Organize and host a Zen Yoga Workshop
Instructor Level 2 – Advanced Training Certification Level.
Requirements: Instructor Level 1
Teaching Formal Zen Yoga Class (approx. 1 year)
1-on-1 advanced Zen Yoga Training with Sage level instructor
Expand Zen Yoga community
Completion of the Advanced Zen Yoga Course
Sage Level 1 – Basic Master Level.
Requirements: Instructor Level 2
Teaching Formal Zen Yoga Class (approx. 3 years)
Training in hard/soft style martial arts, yoga, or equivalent
Organize and host Zen Yoga Retreat
Completion of Zen Yoga Sage Course
Sage Level 2 – Intermediate Master Level
Requirements: Sage Level 1
Teaching Zen Yoga (children, seniors, etc.) (approx. 5 years)
Write/publish books and/or articles
Create innovative Zen Yoga training
Completion of Zen Yoga Healer Course
Sage Level 3 – Advanced Master Level
Requirements: Sage Level 2
Teaching Zen Yoga (approx. 7 years)
Teaching Zen Yoga Instructor course.
Develop Zen Yoga Curriculum
Zin – Highest Level of Zen Yoga Mastery
